POLO BAR & GRILL A GREAT GATHERING SPOT FOR EQUESTRIANS AND NON-EQUESTRIANS IN WELLINGTON, FLA.

The new year has rolled over into 2018, meaning the eyes of many South Floridians – particularly those in western Palm Beach County – turn to polo and the equestrian world. With the Village of Wellington as its ground zero, western Palm Beach County’s equestrian season – from polo to dressage – will shift into high gear through the end of April.

Despite its perception of being for the rich and famous, polo is every man’s (and women’s) sport. The best evidence of that is the Polo Bar & Grill at Polo West in Wellington. Located on what was once the Wellington Country Club, the Polo Bar & Grill is a great spot for families to watch a polo match on one of Polo West’s four polo fields or watch an arena polo match just steps from its front door.

We want to pay homage to the original Wellington,” says Gary, who with his wife operates the store PoloGear. “We are also hanging up black-and-white photos from polo photographers.”
